NATURE CLUB

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. Yes, that is one thing that the Nature Club of MBG, “MACROCOSM” firmly believes in. To make this world a better and greener place, is most definitely a difficult job in this world of pollution, but it is not impossible; and the members of the Nature Club of MBG, have resolved to strive hard and move a step closer to achieve this goal.



INTERACT CLUB

The Interact Club M.B.G.H.S.S. is a part of the Rotary International motivated by the motto ‘Service above Self’. Interact Club is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young people aged 14 –18 (secondary and higher secondary students). It teaches service above self and helps in all-round development of students. It gives young people an opportunity to participate in meaningful service projects throughout the school year, which involves volunteering in the district schools. Several projects a year are coordinated to serve the community. There is an international activity to promote better world understanding, values, goodwill and bonding with others to achieve common goals.


SPICMACAY CLUB

Our school has an active SPICMACAY CLUB. We have lecture cum demonstrations on classical and instrumental music, classical and folk dance, craft, yoga, music, theatre workshops, talks, heritage walks, film screenings during Virasat - Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture. Amongst Youth, a thirty year old youth organizes 1700 programmes in 150 cities of India and abroad every year. Our school has had the privilege of having artists like Padmabhushan Smt Teejan Bai (Pandavani), Padmashree Smt. Leela Samson (Bharat Natyam), Smt. Kiran Segal (Odissi), Dr. Preeti Patel (Manipuri), Dr.Malabika Mitra (Kathak) Kapila Venu (Koodiyattam), Yakshagana Smt Rita Ganguly, Sri Mukul Shivputra (Classical music), Dr.Rajeeb Chakroborty (Sarod), Sri.Shahed Parvez (Sitar).



FILM CLUB
Children are imposed to documentary cinema as well as feature films of internationally acclaimed directors. Cinema is powerful medium and can be used to help our children be more sensitive human being, who will make this world a more beautiful place to live in.

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT
An all round development of the personality is given great importance. So, children are taught social and communication skills. Tips are also given on grooming and etiquette.


Regulations
Promotion will not be granted if:
1. A student does not qualify in any two subjects.
2. A student does not qualify in the aggregate.

Attendance:
Students are expected to be regular and punctual. Minimum attendance required is 75%.
